Overwhelmed?
For one not well versed in the Java language and/or course requirements, choosing the right products may seem confusing. It all depends on your needs... hopefully, the following will help(bullets itemized according to priority):
For a home school student or a solitary learner:
- Blue Pelican Java textbook
- Answer book
The above two are absolutely essential. The following is highly desirable if your buget
permits and especially so if a competent instructor is not available.
- The 4-volume set of DVD's (Vols A-D) in which all lessons are presented by the author.
For students in a non-AP Java class:
- Blue pelican Java textbook
- Answer book
- ExamView pack
- The 4-volume set of DVD's (Vols A-D) if the instructor does not quite feel comfortable teaching the course...or... if plans are made to put the videos on the school's LAN (permission is automatically granted for this). Thus the students can view the videos on their own time or even from home.
- The Graphical Labs DVD & Booklet is a great motivator. This is highly desirable if your budget permits.
For students in an AP Java class:
